Autumn Styling with Saks

Knee high boots and a thick wool mini is one of my favorite fall outfit formulas. Whether you go with a statement plaid or something more neutral this pairing always looks great with a chunky knit. Throw on your trusty Barbour or perhaps a wrap coat when the temperatures dip!
I love the unexpected look of a tweedy cocktail dress (for example this, or this rosy option!) both of which look fabulous with tights and a chunky heel or pointed toe boot! If you want a longer sleeve this embroidered dress is stunning!
There are so many handsome fair isle options available this season, and I love this sweater paired with a great pair of denim (I’m obsessed with these jeans) and black boots. (This is also fab!)
I’m also on a sweater dress kick for their effortless style and comfort and this flared fair isle dress would be fabulous with my knee high boots. I’ve had this patchwork blazer for several years and it’s such a fun yet still neutral layer that really dresses up a pair of jeans. If you’re looking for something more festive this green and navy plaid version is also gorgeous.
