Even though it will be snowing off and on for the next few weeks I’m looking for ways to put a spring in my step. I absolutely love a monochromatic outfit and creating one with bright pops of color is the perfect way to enliven a winter look. The recipe is simple — start with a colorful, solid top or sweater, pop on a blazer or coat in a similar hue then add a matching accessory as a finishing touch. Be sure to pair with a neutral pant or skirt to keep things sophisticated. Aside from pink, this trifecta would work perfectly in the families of green, blue, purple and red. I’ve put together some examples for you below!
